The Roots in the New York Times

The Roots, hip-hop's only live band as well as the only predominantly black mainstream live band left, have a new album out called "Rising Down." In my opinion, it's their best work this decade and comes with a passion that's been missing from their other work. The New York Times has an article out today where they ask drummer/producer ?uestlove and rapper Black Thought about what inspired the songs, which cover topics as heavy as suicide bombings and the Virginia Tech massacre, and how they view their careers in light of the gloomy music industry.
