Wright is bad for everyone

Rev. Jeremiah Wright obviously seems a bit more concerned with circulating his own prestige than he is with making sure that Barack Obama wins the presidency in November. He may be trying to be the next Al Sharpton, a go to guy for lazy cable news shows to call when they need comment on some issue related to black people. I hope this effort on his part doesn't succeed, as no one needs more victimhood pimps annointing themselves as their representatives of black Americans. His continued presence in the media alone causes nothing but harm, for Barack Obama's presidential campaign, for the American dialogue about race, for the political atmosphere and for any political candidates, be they Hillary or McCain, who stoop to using him as a weapon against Obama.
