Even then, Mike Wallace was a visibly left-leaning journalist. Ayn Rand shows perfect intensity and stares a hole right through Wallace. I imagine he was a bit uncomfortable with the experience.



Since I've discovered her work, I have been devouring Ayn Rand's bibliography. "We the Living" was engaging and unpredictable, while "Anthem" was frightening in its familiarity with much of my experiences. Next on the plate is "The Early Ayn Rand Vol. 2" (which I found being sold on a streetcorner in Berkeley, California) and, of course, "Atlas Shrugged."
