Is your child a slave of the state?

When one battle is won, the arrival of another battle illustrates that the war is never over. So it is with the struggle between parents and the federal education establishment. Despite the defeat of the Seattle Public Schools' racist quota systems by the Supreme Court, another battle has shown up where I am now living in, California, where appeals courts have dictated that homeschooling is a crime.

Parents should ask themselves, as Thomas Bowden illustrates is not the case, whether or not they believe their children are their own or the government's.
